Mr. Stansell's 5th Grade Rock Stars

Hello, and welcome to the 5th Grade! I am really looking forward to and exciting new school year!
*About: My name is Charles T. Stansell. I am the 5th Grade teacher here at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic School.
*Experience: I have taught 5th Grade here since 2005. I have also taught K3 thru 5th Grade here. I have also taught 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Language Arts in Special Education for the San Diego Independent School District.
*Education: I have a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art.
*Communication Methods: Here at SSCM, we use FACTS/Renweb and Google Classroom for posting teacher lesson plans, grades, Class schedules, messages, etc.
*What makes the 5th Grade class so unique? What makes the 5th Grade class so unique is that they are being prepared to transition to the 6th Grade. Here in the 5th Grade, students are taught prayers in Spanish and Latin. Another thing that makes 5the Grade here so unique, is that I am a re-enactor. During the month of March, I bring I will bring some things for a "show-and-tell" for the students. I also invite my 5th Grade families and students to come out to our annual Goliad event in Goliad, Tx. Students are given the opportunity to perform mock drills with Texas Army.
*Why I have chosen to teach here at SSCM: Here at SSCM, we see each other as a family. We are a close-knit community.
