Parent Handbook

At SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic School (SSCM), students are expected to uphold behaviors that reflect positively on the reputation of the school, both on and off campus. Any behavior deemed detrimental to the school’s image or mission may result in disciplinary action by school officials.

Parents and guardians share in the responsibility of fostering a respectful and cooperative environment. SSCM expects families to maintain a collaborative and respectful relationship with school staff and administration. Failure to do so may result in the dismissal of the student from SSCM.

All students and parents are accountable for maintaining orderly conduct on school grounds, during school hours, and at all school-sponsored events. If a parent is unable or unwilling to support the school’s discipline procedures and policies, the student’s continued enrollment may be reconsidered.

Probationary Admission

All students enrolling at SSCM for the first time will be accepted on a probationary basis during the first academic quarter. The school reserves the right to dismiss a student at any time during this probationary period if it is determined that SSCM is not an appropriate fit for the student or family.

The Principal retains the right to amend this handbook at any time during the school year.  Parents will be notified of any changes.
